Excellent establishment all around

Shelly was amazing! She was honest and open about the menu and her recommendations! She didn’t miss a beat when it came to food allergies and knew the menu better than I know my own kids! The food was delicious and she was able to pair it with amazing wine while providing good energy and swift service! The music at the restaurant was good not missing a beat with different varieties and up beat temples! I will def be coming back for more and she was right the crab cake was excellent and the rigatoni à la vodka made spicy paired with the perfect meatball didn’t disappoint! She also offered a tip of drinking Pinot Noir and adding a splash of 7 up and I love this idea and as spring is fast approaching I will be adding this to my drink menu as I host get together say home! Shelly deserves a rise a more she was as amazing as the food xoxo

We cannot recommend this place enough. Doug was our waiter and he was absolutely incredible. So attentive and provided excellent service. He was so patient, great with our allergies and we would recommend him to anyone. The food was also amazing, we enjoyed everything that we got!! Thank you so much, Doug, for a very enjoyable meal!!!

The bartender was an absolute hoot, randomly singing along with music (Madonna, Billy Joel) and the food was amazing and the banana cream pie was probably the best I've had.Be aware that portions are huge

I surprised my Wife, by having our Sons and their Families attend her Surprise Birthday Dinner! It was our First time at Carmine's and it definitely won't be our last Dinner at Carmine's! We ordered the Calamari, Stuffed Mushrooms and Sausage and Peppers! We Loved them All. We had 6 different Dinners! We enjoyed them All! The portions were so large, we All took some home! Our Waiter Petar, was very Professional and Helpful!

We celebrated my son's birthday last night and we received an outstanding service from Shelly R. It feels like she's hosting in her own home. She made us feel as her very special quests. And the manager last night was so friendly and wonderful. Thank you for a lovely accommodations and yummy food. We will be back for sure. 💯 % recommended 👌

The restaurant was packed and there were tons of sweet kids & babies everywhere. It was a bit cramped since it was obvious that more tables were added EVERYWHERE in the restaurant.

Very good Italian food and portions are big enough to share. The bread is fresh made and tasted amazing! Service was on par. Corkerage charges are very high if you bring your own booze. Food was very fresh and tasty. Chillean seabass was very good!

My first time here, service was great, food quality excellent, atmosphere was great. Overall all exceeded my expectations!

We were very excited to ring in the new year here. We had read previous reviews, and I confirmed that they would be open and offering a New Year's Eve dinner. What we didn't know was that they closed at 1:00 AM 😔, and since my daughter worked until 10:00 PM, that's why we made the reservation for 11:00 PM. I wish they had told us this beforehand, and we would have changed the reservation, at least so we could have enjoyed the music, which, from what little we heard, was fabulous. This was the only thing that slightly spoiled our New Year's celebration. Aside from this minor inconvenience, I have to highlight the excellent and attentive service from the young man who served us. I didn't catch his name 😔, but if you read this comment, thank you, thank you, thank you for your excellent recommendations, both for the wine I tasted and the food. My family and I enjoyed the dinner, the music, and your attentive service. Happy New Year! 🎇🎇🎇

Absolutely outstanding service! Our waiter John was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down. They were knowledgeable about the menu, gave great recommendations, and checked in at just the right times without being intrusive. Everything was handled with a positive attitude and a genuine smile, which made our dining experience even better. Felt as if I knew him for years. Great guy great food great service 👏🏼

Amazing and all levels. First time I have gone to the one in Rosemont as I would always frequent the one downtown Chicago. Same atmosphere phenomenal food great staff.

We had dinner here last night and the food was good but the drinks were something to really rave about. I ordered egg drop soup, the sizzling shrimp dumplings, mongolian beef and tried the new holiday shrimp dish. The shrimp dish lacked in flavor but everything else made up for it. For drinks, we had jade margaritas and they were PERFECT!!! The highlight of our evening was being served by Valerie. She was attentive, kind and very helpful. Her attitude was so pleasant that it made for a wonderful overall experience. We will be back and we will definitely request Valerie for our server.

We went for dinner on a Saturday night. Made a reservation upfront. The place was packed. Food was amazing. Service excellence. Ordered Veal Milanese, Grilled Octopus and Coconut cake. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. Perfection.

We really enjoyed this place. Everything was great: the food, the service, the atmosphere. The portion sizes are pretty generous which is always a good thing. The whole restaurant was clean and organized, including the restrooms, which are often a little neglected (in a lot of other places). So big kudos to them. We definitely recommend this restaurant.

Mer friends who were laying over due to air traffic controls. Had a lot of time to share memories with them. This restaurant was fantastic for food, drinks, service and hospitality. Immensely enjoyable time. Noise was low and could have wonderful conversation without having to raise voices. I would definitely go again.

Shelly was our server, and she was absolutely fantastic!!! So kind, so informative, and has a great taste in food, as she recommended a pasta dish that I got, and it was delicious. The atmosphere and service are top-notch, and I highly recommend it.

Carmine in Rosemont was outstanding. I had braised short rib over risotto which was mouth watering. My kids had a variety of items plus we had appetizers and desserts. My son had filet mignon which was equal to Perrys or Ruth Chris, my oldest son had a schnitzel which he loved . My daughter had veal parmesan which she said was the best she has had anywhere It's a high end italian steakhouse. My son and husband were excited they had Mccallen 18 year scotch. Several glasses later they were having a fabulous evening lol. Im so surprised how exceptional carmines is since they are owned by Rosebud which are about the same as Maggianos. Same philosophy , boxed pasta with sauce slapped on and call it a day. I make homemade pasta at home and love it. If you want delicious Italian and are in Rosemont Vista carmines but make a reservation, this place gets packed. If you have great food people will come.

This is a go to restaurant for special occasions or a night out with the spouse. Great service and the food was amazing. Great portions as well!

The Tia Maria Espresso Martini may be the best in the country!

Excellent restaurant. Were welcomed into the restaurant and seated immediately. The ambiance was beautiful. Waitress was attentive. Food was excellent. We had calamari for an appetizer. Really good. We asked for marinara (which is the normal offering in the Italian neighborhood in NJ and NY) instead of the cocktail sauce offered by Carmine's. I would highly recommend this appetizer. The chicken parmesan was so tasty and the pasta was perfectly al dente. I will definitely try to come back here the next time I'm in Chicago!

Really delicious Italian options with their own unique twist. Really nice atmosphere both inside and outside seating. We split some items and notices other tables sounds the same thing. They made that easy and served the splits on separate plates.

Visited this amazing restaurant for a birthday celebration and from the way our server Armando greeted us felt very good and genuine. He made amazing recommendations and the food, cocktails and dessert was delicious.
